The Dieppe Commandos Hockey Club successfully hosted the 2009 Fred Page Cup. 

The Eastern Canadian Junior A championship was held at the Jean Louis Levesque Arena on the University of Moncton campus from April 22nd-26th. The event also coincided with the 50th Anniversary of Junior A Hockey in Greater Moncton.
