The Commandos trade for Anthony Brockman

January 9 2012

Dieppe, NB – The Dieppe Commandos have announced today the acquisition of 20 year old forward Anthony Brockman in exchange for future considerations.

Originally from Otterburn Park, Qc, Anthony Brockman played the past two seasons for the Collège Français de Longueuil of the LHJAAAQ. He also competed at the 2011 Fred Page Cup.

During the 2010-11 season, the 5’09 and 186 lbs forward accumulated 32 goals and 31 assists for 63 points in 48 games. He also had a strong performance at the Fred Page Cup with 5 points in 5 games. Anthony had 15 points in 21 games so far this season.

“We are very happy to add a quality player such as Anthony. He is a fast skater and can put the puck in the back of the net. We feel he will fit nicely with our team and the Commandos should be an exciting team to watch in the last stretch of the season. He will report to the team on Wednesday for this first team practice,” said Jean-François Damphousse, General Manager for the Commandos.

Next home game for the Commandos will be held this Thursday against the powerful Yarmouth Mariners. Game time 7:30pm at the AJL arena.
