MHL Rookie of the Month 

The MHL Pro Design Cresting Rookie of the Month for October is Joel Blanchard of the Dieppe Commandos. The 17 year old rookie right winger has been a great addition to the Commandos lineup. Joel has performed extremely well, especially in the month of October. In 10 games during the month he accumulated 8 goals and 6 assists for 14 points. Joel Blanchard has contributed greatly to this effort of the Commandos so far this season. The Commandos 2011 first round draft pick played Midget AAA last season with the Miramichi Rivermen.
