MacDonald and Leger get Q opportunities

Two Dieppe Commandos players, Alex MacDonald and Jean-Marc Leger, were recently called up to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Alec MacDonald played 13 games for the Commandos this season. He was acquired by the Moncton Wildcats in December in a trade with Halifax. The Moncton native gets a great opportunity to play in his hometown after spending a year and a half with the Halifax Mooseheads.

Jean-Marc Leger played 18 games for the Commandos this season accumulating 14 points. He joins the Baie Comeau Drakkar after a solid first half of the season with the Commandos. The Memramcook native participated earlier this year in Baie Comeau’s training camp before being sent down to Dieppe.
